Amys Day 8
Breakfast:
28g honey Shreddies and 100ml semi skimmed milk.
Tea and 20ml milk.
Lunch:
Diet coke. Dry roasted carrots, peas and potatoes in mixed herbs. Mushroom and lentil wedge (roast 200g mushrooms and mix with 100g cooked red lentils, half an onion, a tsp mixed herbs, salt and pepper and a beaten egg. Mix in a food processor and add enough dried potato til the mix is thick and almost crumbly but when pressed sticks together. Dry fry in a non stick pan for 5 minutes then carefully flip over for another minutes. Repeat til both sides have coloured.
No added sugar orange jelly.
Snack:
2 Alpen light chocolate orange (HEB)
Dinner:
Rice boiled with sweetcorn, peas, kidney beans and onions, well drained and mixed with carrots and water chestnuts fried in soy sauce. A quorn burger (0.5 syn)

I'm going to the cinema this afternoon with friends and I don't want to be the odd one out not eating and drinking. So I'll have a diet coke (0 syn) and have been online looking at what bag of sweets to share... A 42g bag of minstrels is 10.5 syn. I reckon you get 20 discs in a pack so that's 0.5 syns a disc... so I can eat (taking into account my other syns today) 21 discs. Yum.

''The best thing about loosing 15lb, is that my knickers fall down when i walk''
I decided to start back on Slimming World randomly whilst drying my hair on a Sunday Morning. I frog-marched my mum to the local ASDA and together we bought syn free foods and free foods. That was the 27th June 2010, and since then I've lost 15lbs.
I did Slimming World 3 years ago and lost nearly 4 stone. Stuff happened, I lost my way and found a friend in local takeaways..
I've been vegetarian for all my life and wouldnt have it any other way. This ulitimatley means I don green days all the time, which is no problem. Its just like a meat eater choosing to do red days all the time.
The only difference this time with Slimming World is that I'm not going to group. I can afford it. I miss the new recepies and finding out new syn values etc, and have decided that if I start to get bored or want new ideas, then I will join group again. I keep a food diary everyday which is so useful to look back at for insiration. I also go in the gym 3-4 times a week. Our gym is in our Garage so Im very lucky I only have to wander outside for a workout and boost my weightloss.
Everyting is so baggy on my now, that I resemble a tramp. However, i dont mind this one bit. The best thing about loosing 15lb, is that my knickers fall down when i walk, and their is no sweeter sucsess than that!

My plan to keep my mind off food today is to concentrate on craft swapping site www.swap-bot.com, I volunteered as a group admin for July and love coming up with ideas, it keeps me in my craft cupboard and away from the kitchen. Planning a black and yellow themed filled matchbox swap.

per person: Roast on 220C for 30 minutes a quorn chicken fillet, 3 broccoli florets, 3 cauliflower florets, handful baby carrots, in 50ml boiling water with 3 sprigs rosemary, 1 tbsp dried sage, 1 tbsp soy sauce (for darker colour), salt and white pepper. Parboil 3 small potatoes, drain and add to quorn and veg for another 30 minutes. With 1 tbsp gravy granules shared between 2 people (1.75 ie 2 syns)

Slice homemade cake from a diet pack (6 syns)

I was in a hungry mood all day, maybe because it was cold outside and I needed more fuel or more likely because I was finding recipes on the internet to try this week. I'm craving chocolate (day 5 of period) and my comfort foods- pizza or mash potatoes on buttered white bread. I'm ignoring it though, drinking plenty. I did a 30 minute walk on the Wii Fit.
